Loxone 1-Wire Extension

$246.00

Item no.: 100014

The 1-Wire Extension allows the integration of 1-Wire sensors to your system Loxone. The sensors are inexpensive and easy to install, ideal if you are installing many sensors.

  • 1-Wire interface (5V output max. 50mA)
  • Connection of up to 20 sensors or one iButton reader
  • Transmission speed 16.3 kbit/s
  • Unlimited iButton
  • Power supply 24VDC
  • Connection to Loxone Link
  • ETL Listed

The 1-Wire Extension allows the integration of 1-Wire sensors to your system Loxone. The 1-Wire Extension is ideal for installations where many sensors are required. The reliable sensors are inexpensive and easy to install. With the Miniserver connected, multiple sensors can be connected to the 1-Wire Extension.

Recommended Topology

Bus topology without branches
Bus technology without branches is best suited for cabling. This offers a range of up to 1,148 ft (350m).

Bus topology with branches
With branches, a similar result can be achieved. However, the maximum range is up to 984 ft (300m).

More topologies

Bus topology with long branches
Bus topology with long branches is recommended to an extent, allowing cabling of up to 328 ft (100m).

Star topology
Star topology is only recommended for smaller installations, allowing cabling of up to 328 ft (100m) .

Installation Diagram

Graphic or Wiring diagram of Loxone 1-Wire Extension installed. In the diagram you see the 1-Wire Extension installed to the right of the Miniserver Gen 2. Both are powered by a DIN rail 24VDC power supply. The Miniserver, the power supply and the 1-Wire Extension are installed on a DIN rail which is attached inside the panel. To the left of the Miniserver is a DIN rail mounted 24VDC power supply. The power supply has a 2-conductor wire connected to the Miniserver to provide 24VDC power. From the top of the Miniserver is also a line indicating its attachment to the LAN via a network switch which is located outside and on the top of the panel. The 1-Wire Extension is also getting a blue cable from the Miniserver which indicates a Loxone Link Communication.
