The 24V RGBW Compact Dimmer allows for easy control of color-changing lighting such as the RGBW LED Strip. This driver includes the control for 0-100% dimming and the ability to adjust colors. This creates unique lighting moods that can completely change the look and feel of a room!

TREE
The award-winning Loxone Tree technology was designed with a clear goal in mind: reduce the cable and effort required for all the peripheral devices that make up a Real Smart Home. Thanks to a free-form wiring topology, the commissioning of Loxone Tree is efficient and effective. All Tree devices can be paired in no time at all. If the installation presents the opportunity to pull cables, then the Tree variant is the way to go.
AIR
Loxone Air is a purpose-developed wireless technology that allows for the incorporation of Real Smart Home functionality within existing homes – whether it’s a refurbishment or renovation. For those installations that may not present the chance to pull a cable, Air technology takes care of the wireless communication for intelligent automation and control.
Strain relief for your cable
The RGBW 24V Compact Dimmer is designed in such a way that strain on the connected cable is relieved by the cover cap. Should you be using more than one cable, the strain relief can be achieved by adding the supplied cable straps.

Installation Diagram

In the diagram you see the RGBW 24VDC Compact Dimmer Extension Air installed outside of panel to the right of the Miniserver Gen 2 panel. The Miniserver is powered by a separate DIN rail 24VDC power supply, while the RGBW 24VDC Compact Dimmer Extension Air is powered by a 12-24VDC LED power supply. The Miniserver and its respective power supply is installed on a DIN rail, while the RGBW 24VDC Compact Dimmer Extension Air and its respective power supply is installed close to the LEDs it’s controlling.
To the left of the Miniserver is a Din Rail mounted 24VDC power supply. The power supply has a 2-conductor wire connected to the Miniserver to provide 24VDC power. From the top of the Miniserver is also a line indicating its attachment to the LAN via a network switch which is located outside and on the top of the panel. To the bottom right of the RGBW 24VDC Compact Dimmer Extension Air is an LED DC power supply. The power supply has a 2-conductor wire connected from the DC outputs of the power supply to the DC inputs of the Loxone RGBW 24VDC Compact Dimmer Extension Air. The RGBW 24VDC Compact Dimmer Extension Air communicates with the Loxone Miniserver wirelessly using the Loxone air technology, which is a radio frequency based protocol.
