The 24V RGBW Compact Dimmer allows for easy control of color-changing lighting such as the RGBW LED Strip. This driver includes the control for 0-100% dimming and the ability to adjust colors. This creates unique lighting moods that can completely change the look and feel of a room!

As this dimmer is specifically designed for decentralized use, it could easily be installed at the location of the LED Strip recessed into furniture or cabinetry, under the bed, or directly in a dropped or coffered ceiling.

TREE

The award-winning Loxone Tree technology was designed with a clear goal in mind: reduce the cable and effort required for all the peripheral devices that make up a Real Smart Home. Thanks to a free-form wiring topology, the commissioning of Loxone Tree is efficient and effective. All Tree devices can be paired in no time at all. If the installation presents the opportunity to pull cables, then the Tree variant is the way to go.

AIR

Loxone Air is a purpose-developed wireless technology that allows for the incorporation of Real Smart Home functionality within existing homes – whether it’s a refurbishment or renovation. For those installations that may not present the chance to pull a cable, Air technology takes care of the wireless communication for intelligent automation and control.

Strain relief for your cable

The 24V Compact Dimmer is designed in such a way that strain on the connected cable is relieved by the cover cap. Should you be using more than one cable, the strain relief can be achieved by adding the supplied cable straps.

Installation Diagram

In the diagram you see the dimmer connected directly to an installed Miniserver Gen 2 and powered by a din Rail 24VDC power supply. The Miniserver Gen 2 is installed in a panel. The Miniserver Gen 2 is mounted on a din rail which is attached inside the panel. To the left of the Miniserver is a Din Rail mounted 24VDC power supply. The power supply has a wire connected to the Miniserver to provide 24VDC power. The Miniserver is also attached to a network switch which is located outside the panel on the top. Outside the panel is a 24VDC Compact RGBW Dimmer Tree installed close to it’s led source. It has an orange wire at the bottom left indicating its power source, which in this case is from the same Din rail power supply as the Miniserver, however it can have its own independent power supply. At the bottom right of the 24VDC Compact RGBW Dimmer Tree is green wire which is connected to the Miniserver Gen II indicating the tree communication from the Miniserver.
